THERE WAS THIS SPATE AT THE TURN OF THE CENTURY OF COMEDY RAPPERS AND SOME OF YOU WILL SAY "THAT DIDN'T AGE WELL". I AM HERE TO TELL YOU "IT WASN'T GOOD AT THE TIME EITHER".
TO BE FAIR THIS ISN'T AS AWFUL AS I REMEMBER. I THINK IT PULLS FROM THE GRAVEDIGGAZ SCHOOL OF ENJOYING WHACKED OUT HORROR IMAGERY MIXED WITH A *LOT* OF SCATOLOGICAL REFERENCES AND AN ALTOGETHER MORE DIY ASPECT IN THE PRODUCTION. I FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THAT ANYONE AT LOAD TRULY *BELIEVED* IN THIS RECORD IN THE SAME WAY ONE MIGHT BELIEVE IN AN ESSENTIALLY DECENT BAND LIKE BRAINBOMBS OR OLNEYVILLE SOUND SYSTEM LET ALONE A PROPERLY GOOD ONE. SO YOU HAVE TO ASSUME THIS IS BEN PUTTING OUT A RECORD BY HIS PALS. FINE. WHATEVER. NEXT.
SYSTEMATIC BUT NOT NECESSARILY FAIR REVIEWS OF AS MUCH OF THE LOAD RECORDS DISCOGRAPHY AS I CAN FIND OR ABIDE (no I do not have downloads)
